Wind, Courage, and Wings (Amber's Quest Act)
The Traveler encounters Amber, who reminds them they need a gliding license to fly around Mondstadt and gives them the proper guidebook to study. After completing the first part of the exam, they are interrupted by Otto, a Knight of Favonius, who mistakes them for an accomplice of a criminal named Raptor. Amber explains the situation, and they team up to capture Raptor, who has stolen a valuable artifact.
Tracking Raptor to Springvale, they find clues and help a merchant named Farrah who was attacked by Hilichurls. Amber recognizes Raptor’s involvement and leads the chase. Along the way, they fight Hilichurls and Raptor’s men, with Amber modifying the exam to include bomb-dropping attacks on the enemies.
They eventually corner Raptor at a canyon. Amber jumps across the gap using a wind current to reach him and apprehends him. Afterward, Amber takes Raptor to the Knights' HQ and gives the Traveler their gliding license at the Cathedral. She also signs them up for the next Wind Gliding Championship, excited for a future challenge.
Secret Pirate Treasure (Kaeya's Quest Act)
The Traveler and Paimon encounter Kaeya, who reveals that his pirate grandfather buried a legendary sword to prevent conflict. Kaeya is worried about Treasure Hoarders who might discover the ruins where the sword is hidden. He suggests they check with the Adventurers' Guild for information, but the visit proves fruitless.
Later, Kaeya says he has found an informant and leads them to Whispering Woods. After rescuing the informant from monsters, they receive a cryptic map leading them to a windmill in Mondstadt and eventually to a waterfall near Springvale, where they find the map to the Arcadian Ruins. Paimon suggests they claim the treasure themselves.
At the ruins, they are ambushed by Izzard, the leader of the Treasure Hoarders. Kaeya arrives, revealing the treasure hunt was a ruse to lure out the Treasure Hoarders. Izzard tries to escape but triggers a Ruin Guard, which Kaeya and the Traveler defeat. Kaeya apologizes for deceiving them, explaining it was necessary to catch the criminals. As a gesture of goodwill, he gives them the Harbinger of Dawn sword and promises not to trick them again. If the Traveler solved the treasure hunt alone, Kaeya is impressed and returns to interrogate Izzard.
